Good afternoon,
It's been a busy week and it seems like forever since I've updated our blog. Adam and I went to Atlanta on Monday and then headed to South Carolina. We went to see my Papa who is in the hospital after having a stroke on Sunday night. My sweet Papa is 84 years old and has Alzheimer's as well as a heart condition. They found a blood clot between his brain and his skull. The clot was removed on Tuesday morning and the surgery went smoothly. It's such a difficult situation, because of the Alzheimer's. We would love for prayers regarding placement in a care facility and strength for my family to endure each day. My Dad, Grandmother, Aunt and Uncle are taking shifts around the clock at the hospital. I am so glad that they are able to be there, but I know they are getting very tired and have so many decisions to make. I know they would love your prayers!
Adam was a great traveler this week! He was a great companion in the car and he was a great sleeper in the pack-in-play. We got home yesterday and around 3:30 this morning, he woke up moaning. Poor guy, he has what the doctor said was the worst sore throat ever! He has a high fever, and is pretty miserable. Unfortunately, he is very contagious, so we are going to enjoy the weekend at home.
So, if you are around this weekend, you know where you can find us!
